Sage Essential Oil, 10ml
Every person's skin is unique, and even naturally derived ingredients may not be suitable for everyone. We recommend performing a patch test before first use of any cosmetic product, regardless of the brand, particularly if you have sensitive or reactive skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Manufacturer: Biopark Cosmetics
Description and Uses: Obtained through steam distillation of sage leaves. It is pale yellow-green in color and has a strong, herbal, spicy scent, sometimes with a note of camphor. It is frequently added to soaps, perfumes, and other cosmetic products due to its fragrance. It acts as an antioxidant, making it an important addition to products aimed at helping with sagging skin or wrinkles. It can also help with stretch marks, scars, and conditions such as dermatitis or cold sores. Sage is good for the hair and scalp, and can be added to shampoos, conditioners, and scalp tonics, especially for thinning or gray hair as well as overly oily hair. In the past, it was also used for minor wounds or scratches to help prevent irritation and inflammation. Sage leaf tea is a well-known remedy for a sore throat.
Oils with which it can be blended: Clary sage, geranium, ginger, lavender, orange, vetiver, neroli, rosemary, and tea tree.
Fun Facts: Sage is a perennial, evergreen shrub that thrives best in the Mediterranean. It features elongated, pointed grayish-green leaves and purple flowers. Its Latin name derives from the word Salvere, meaning to save, and another of its names is the "plant that saves and heals." For centuries, it has been produced for use in cooking and as a home remedy. The Arabs used it for teeth cleaning. In historical times, it was used to preserve food and prevent it from spoiling.

Packaging: Biopark Cosmetics essential oils are stored in special dark violet glass (Violet glass), which exceptionally protects them from the entry of daylight, something that other dark-colored glass cannot do. Plants need light for growth and development—once they reach maturity, the degradation process begins in the light. Therefore, top-quality packaging is important for top-quality products. Our packaging exclusively allows violet light to pass through, which the plant essential oils inside need to maintain the same quality over the long term and preserve all of their bio-energy.
