Description: Cold-pressed from olive fruits. It has a characteristic, mild olive scent and a greenish color, resulting from the pigment content in the fruits, such as chlorophyll, pheophytin, and carotenoids.
Important active ingredients: Contains a high proportion of oleic acid, which is a monounsaturated Omega-9 fatty acid. It also contains polyunsaturated linoleic fatty acid, saturated palmitic fatty acid, and is rich in vitamins E and K.
Use: It nourishes and softens the skin, giving it a healthy glow. It creates a protective layer on the skin's surface that helps maintain its hydration. It is suitable for massage and as a base for mixtures with essential oils. Due to its composition, it is frequently included in products for facial, body, and hair care.
Facial care: Apply olive oil to a cleansed face that has been moistened with a toner or hydrosol. You can also use it for makeup removal. Hand scrub: If you have dry skin on your hands, mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil with a teaspoon of fine salt, a teaspoon of honey, and a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Massage your hands with the mixture for a minute or two and rinse with water. You can also use this for a full-body scrub. Nail and cuticle care: Mix a tablespoon or two of olive oil with lemon juice and warm the mixture until it is lukewarm. Soak your fingertips in the mixture for 5–10 minutes. The oil softens the cuticles and strengthens the nails. Lip care: Apply olive oil to dry and chapped lips several times a day to moisturize and protect them. Foot care: Before going to sleep, apply olive oil to dry areas of your feet and wear cotton socks. In the morning, the skin will be soft and moisturized. Body care: After bathing or showering, apply to damp skin and rub in well. For massage, you can add a few drops of essential oil to the carrier oil.
Shelf life: The oil stays fresh for 6 months to 1 year when stored properly (in a cool place, protected from direct light). We recommend storing in the refrigerator after opening.
