Description and use: Obtained by steam distillation of basil leaves and flowers. It is a light green to golden yellow color and has a characteristic herbal, sweet scent with a woody undertone. In Ayurveda, it is traditionally used to clarify thoughts and concentration. It can help clear the sinuses, stimulate digestion and also circulation in the respiratory tract.
Oils that can be mixed with: bergamot, clary sage, clove, lime, lemon, eucalyptus, juniper berries, neroli, rosemary.
