Description: Pale yellow clay, known in English as Fuller’s Earth (Multani Mitti), featuring exceptional acne- and blemish-fighting properties. Rich in magnesium chloride, it helps significantly reduce acne breakouts. Historically, Fuller’s Earth earned its name centuries ago when textile workers ("fullers") used the clay to clean sheep's wool, absorbing lanolin, oils, and impurities to prepare the wool for processing.

Benefits: Multani Mitti is a prized natural clay for deep-cleansing the skin and managing oily or combination complexions. It gently sweeps away surface dead skin cells, leaving the skin smoother, fresher, and perfectly prepped for subsequent care. Because of its outstanding ability to absorb excess sebum and impurities, it is especially favored for skin prone to clogged pores and breakouts, imparting a lasting sense of cleanliness and natural radiance.

The clay offers a pleasant cooling effect, making it an ideal choice for refreshing face and body masks as well as soothing skin after sun exposure. Packed with minerals, it supports a more even, clear, and glowing complexion. It adapts wonderfully to various skin needs: paired with rose or neroli hydrosol for oily skin, blended with almond oil for dry skin, or mixed with neem oil and tea tree for blemish-prone skin.

Instructions for Use:

  • Skincare: Mix the clay with warm water or a hydrosol (add a few favorite facial oils for dry skin) to form a smooth paste. Apply to cleansed skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for up to 15 minutes (if no oil was added, the clay will begin to dry), rinse with warm water, and follow up with a toner or hydrosol and a moisturizing cream or oil.

  • Tip for scarring / blemishes: Mix 1 tablespoon of finely grated carrot, 1 tablespoon of Multani Mitti, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and use as a targeted mask on affected areas.

Warning: When preparing herbal powders and clays, avoid using metal utensils or bowls (such as spoons or dishes), as they can react with the metal material and alter the product chemically. It is best to use wooden or ceramic tools.
