Description and Uses: Obtained through steam distillation of rosemary leaves. It is pale yellow in color and has a very fresh, strongly woody, herbal scent that is also very popular in Mediterranean cuisine. Rosemary uplifts and helps with depression, mood swings, and calming intense emotions. It can also be used during periods of exertion and stress. As an additive to cosmetic products, it is one of the best oils for very dry skin and anti-cellulite products, and is also suitable for scalp care, especially oily scalps. It helps regulate sebum production, nourishes the scalp, and gives hair a natural shine. It is also suitable for an itchy scalp and dandruff.

Oils with which it can be blended: Basil, bergamot, cedarwood, frankincense, ginger, lemon, orange, and mint.

Fun Facts: Rosemary is an evergreen shrub with numerous branches, ash-gray bark, and leathery, thick, narrow leaves that are green on top and white underneath. Because it thrives best near the sea, its name means "Dew of the Sea." Rosemary branches were traditionally burned in hospitals to purify the air, and ancient Romans used it as incense.
