Description: Cold-pressed from avocado fruits. It is green in color, slightly darker than olive oil, and has a characteristic, slightly earthy scent. If it stands at cold temperatures for a long time, small "flakes" may appear at the bottom of the container, which means the oil is slowly solidifying. This does not affect the quality of the oil; slight warming while stirring will restore the oil to its usual appearance. If applied to the skin in large quantities, it leaves a slightly waxy feeling, but otherwise, it absorbs quickly.
Important active ingredients: Contains vitamins A, B1, B2, D, and E, potassium, magnesium, iron, lecithin, and beta-carotene. It is a monounsaturated oil rich in proteins that nourish the skin and hair. It contains the following fatty acids: palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, and linolenic.
Use: A thick, nourishing oil with a characteristically rich texture, suitable for massage and daily skincare. It combines excellently with lighter, more fluid oils, allowing you to enrich the final mixture and adjust the feeling on the skin. It is particularly suitable for dry, dull, and mature skin. It softens the skin, provides a feeling of hydration, and improves the appearance of elasticity. Due to its composition, which includes naturally occurring vitamins and phytosterols, it is highly valued in cosmetic formulations for skin that needs extra comfort and care. It absorbs quickly, leaving a pleasant, nourished feeling without a pronounced oily film. It is also suitable for hair care, where it contributes to a feeling of softness, smoothness, and shine. You can use it on its own or in combination with other vegetable oils, such as olive or almond, as part of a nourishing hair ritual.
Facial care: Apply a small amount of oil to cleansed facial skin that has been previously moistened with a toner or hydrosol.
Body care: After bathing or showering, apply to damp skin and rub in well. For massage, you can add a few drops of essential oil to the carrier oil.
Hair care: Mix 1 tablespoon of avocado oil and 1 tablespoon of olive oil, warm until lukewarm, and rub well into the hair and scalp. Massage for 10–15 minutes, then soak a towel in hot water, wring it out, and wrap it around your hair. Leave on for 20 minutes, then wash your hair with a natural shampoo.
Shelf life: The oil stays fresh for 6 months to 1 year when stored properly (in a cool place, protected from direct light). We recommend storing in the refrigerator after opening.
Composition: Persea Americana.
