Marula oil is a lightweight, antioxidant-rich botanical treasure that expertly balances sebum production while locking in deep moisture. Description: Cold-pressed from the seeds of the marula tree, which is native to North Africa. It is a light oil, pale yellow to yellow-orange in color, with a slight nutty scent. It absorbs nicely into the skin, nails, or hair. It provides a protective layer, does not clog pores, and helps regulate sebum production. It locks moisture into the skin, softens it, and provides antioxidant protection.

Important active ingredients: This oil contains a high amount of oleic acid, which is why it absorbs excellently and helps the skin regulate oil levels. L-arginine and glutamic acid help with deep moisture restoration and work against premature aging. It also contains proteins, antioxidants, phenols, and vitamins E and C, which effectively fight free radical damage.

Use: It is very effective for dry, dehydrated, and mature skin. It helps soften and smooth the skin's surface. It nourishes and moisturizes the skin well. Because it provides abundant moisture, it also helps chapped lips and thin hair ends. It is especially beneficial for the care of cuticles and nails, helping to prevent the skin around the nails from cracking due to dryness. It can also be added to massage blends. The marula tree was once rare and sacred to the local people; in ancient times, it was celebrated as an aid for fertility and a happy marriage. The number of trees is now much larger than it was then.

Facial care: Apply a small amount of oil to cleansed facial skin that has been previously moistened with a toner or hydrosol. Body care: After bathing or showering, apply to damp skin and rub in well. For massage, you can add a few drops of essential oil to the carrier oil. Nail/cuticle care: Occasionally give your fingertips a mini-bath in a cup of warm oil, soaking for 10–15 minutes. Rub a few drops of oil into your cuticles twice a day.

Shelf life: The oil stays fresh for 6 months to 1 year when stored properly (in a cool place, protected from direct light). We recommend storing in the refrigerator after opening.
