Marjoram Oil Sweet
Purpose of use: For scenting rooms using a vaporizer.
Description and use: Obtained by steam distillation of the marjoram plant and flowers. It is yellow in color, gradually turning brown, and has a strong herbal, slightly pungent, sweet scent with an undertone of wood and a medicinal scent. It soothes, but also strengthens, and has an antioxidant effect. It can work against pain, cramps, and helps with painful joints and muscles or menstrual problems. It is useful for colds, as it can relieve coughing, and otherwise reduces stress and tension, and enhances concentration. It has also been used for lung diseases, mouth ulcers, headaches, and migraines.
Oils that can be mixed with it: lavender, chamomile, rosemary, tea tree, eucalyptus, Himalayan cedar, cypress, bergamot.
