Description and Uses: Obtained through steam distillation from ylang ylang flowers. It is pale yellow or golden in color and has a rich, sweet, exotic, floral scent that is among the most sought-after aromas. Its sensual scent lifts the mood and brings joy. It is good for dry or oily skin care as it regulates sebum production and soothes the skin, and when added to hair care products, it promotes healthy growth. It can help with elevated blood pressure, rapid heart rate or breathing, nervous conditions, and has also been used for impotence and frigidity as it acts as an aphrodisiac.

Oils with which it can be blended: Bergamot, grapefruit, lemon, orange, lime, lavender, neroli, rosewood, and sandalwood.

Fun Facts: Ylang ylang is also known as the "flower of flowers." It is a tropical tree that grows up to 20 meters high and features large, fragrant, delicate pink or yellow flowers. The yellow flowers are said to be of the highest quality. Those who practice spirituality say that whoever is strongly drawn to the scent of this oil will find it suits them best.
