Description: Ground leaves of the Neem tree—a green powder with a mild herbal scent. Known in Ayurveda as the "Holy Tree" or "Village Pharmacy," neem is a celebrated natural antiseptic and purifying agent traditionally used to combat dandruff, soothe irritated scalps, and repel insects (especially head lice).

Benefits: Neem powder is one of the most revered botanical ingredients for natural skin and hair care. Due to its powerful cleansing properties, it is extremely popular in facial masks, purifying pastes, and scalp treatments. It helps eliminate excess oil and impurities, making it an exceptional choice for oily, combination, and blemish-prone skin. When used on the hair and scalp, it acts as a refreshing tonic that helps balance oil production, soothe irritation, and maintain a healthy environment free of flakes. It pairs wonderfully with other Ayurvedic herbs like Tulsi, Amla, or Bhringraj for comprehensive care.

Instructions for Use:

  • Hair care: Mix Neem powder with warm water to form a smooth paste. Apply to clean hair and scalp, leave on for at least 20 minutes (or up to an hour for intensive treatment), and rinse thoroughly with water.

  • Facial care: Mix Neem powder with warm water, fresh unsweetened tea, or a hydrosol. Apply the freshly prepared paste to cleansed facial skin. For very sensitive skin, you can blend a 10% concentration of neem powder with green or white clay. Leave on for up to 15 minutes, rinse with water, and follow up with a toner or hydrosol and a moisturizing cream or oil.

Warning: When preparing herbal powders and clays, avoid using metal utensils or bowls (such as spoons or dishes), as they can react with the metal material and alter the product chemically. It is best to use wooden or ceramic tools.
