Description: Ground seeds of Greek hay, also known as fenugreek (Methi), forming a light brown powder with a distinctive sweet and herbal scent. This plant is a traditional and vital component of Ayurvedic and Indian care as well as culinary traditions. The seeds are also very popular for sprouting. Rich in potassium, iron, proteins, and vitamin B3, methi is a favorite ingredient for preparing nourishing hair, scalp, and skin masks. Upon contact with water, it creates a pleasant, slightly gel-like texture ideal for DIY cosmetic preparations.

Benefits: Widely used for skin and scalp care due to its exceptional anti-itch and soothing properties. It helps nurture irritated scalps, combats dandruff, and addresses premature hair loss. In hair care, it enhances softness and smoothness while giving locks a deeply conditioned, healthy appearance. It is well-suited for dry or sensitive scalps, restoring freshness and comfort, and can be used on its own or blended with other herbal powders like amla, brahmi, or shikakai. Additionally, it serves as a gentle facial scrub that helps eliminate excess oil and promotes a clear, radiant complexion free of blackheads.

Instructions for Use:

• Hair mask: Mix Methi powder with warm water to form a smooth paste (you can combine it with other herbal powders). Massage the paste into the scalp using circular motions, then work it out toward the hair ends. Leave on for up to 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly with water, and wash with a natural shampoo or Aritha powder.

• Skincare and gentle scrub: Mix the powder with warm water or a hydrosol (add a few drops of your favorite oil for dry skin) to form a paste. Apply to cleansed skin, avoiding the eye area, and let sit for a few minutes. Add a little water and gently massage in circular motions to achieve a mild exfoliating effect. Rinse with warm water and follow up with a toner or hydrosol and a moisturizing cream or oil.

Warning: When preparing herbal powders and clays, avoid using metal utensils or bowls (such as spoons or dishes), as they can react with the metal material and alter the product chemically. It is best to use wooden or ceramic tools.
