Intended Use: For room scenting using a vaporizer.

Description and Uses: Cold-pressed from the raw peel of limes. It is greenish-yellow in color and has a very fresh, tart-sweet scent characteristic of citrus fruits. In aromatherapy, it has long been used for invigoration and mood lifting. It also acts as an astringent, which is why it is used in products for the care of impure, oily, and acne-prone skin. It tones the skin and is useful in anti-cellulite care.

Oils with which it can be blended: Himalayan cedar, geranium, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, mandarin, neroli, nutmeg, sweet orange, palmarosa, rose, rosemary, rosewood, tangerine, vetiver, ylang ylang.

Fun Facts: The lime is a smaller evergreen tree with white flowers, sharp thorns, and sour fruits that resemble lemons in shape. The fruits are green both outside and inside. It thrives in warm places, especially in Italy, India, and South America. In ancient times, limes were frequently consumed by sailors on long voyages to protect themselves against scurvy due to their high vitamin content. Limes are used for adding flavor in the production of drinks, such as cola, and in perfumery.
