Description: 100% plant powder made from ground henna leaves (Lawsonia), featuring a characteristic greenish-brown color and a mild herbal scent. Henna is one of the most traditional botanical ingredients for natural hair coloring. The naturally occurring plant pigment lawsone binds with the proteins in the hair during application, creating a distinctive warm copper to reddish-orange color effect. The final shade depends on your natural hair color and structure, processing time, and preparation method.

Instructions for Use:

• Preparation: Adjust the amount of henna powder based on your hair length and thickness. Pour the powder into a non-metal bowl and gradually add lukewarm to warm water. Mix well to form a smooth, homogeneous paste without lumps, roughly the consistency of yogurt. Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest for about 6 to 8 hours at room temperature to fully release the natural pigments. Mix well again before application.

• Application: We recommend performing a strand test first, especially on light, grey, bleached, or chemically treated hair. Wash and towel-dry hair beforehand, or apply to clean, dry hair. Wear protective gloves and protect your clothes and surroundings, as henna heavily stains skin and fabrics. Divide hair into small sections and apply the paste evenly from roots to ends. Wrap hair in a plastic cap or foil, and optionally a towel to retain warmth and moisture.

• Processing Time: Leave on for approximately 2 to 4 hours. A shorter time yields a gentler tint, while a longer time creates a more intense copper-red shade.

• Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until the water runs almost clear. A small amount of conditioner can help remove remaining powder particles. Avoid shampooing immediately; wait 24 to 48 hours for the color to fully develop and deepen.

Important Notes & Warnings:

• Final color results depend heavily on your starting hair color, structure, porosity, and any previous chemical treatments. Light or grey hair will show a vibrant copper-red, while dark hair will take on a warm reddish or copper sheen.

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and do not apply to broken or irritated skin.

• When preparing herbal powders and clays, avoid using metal utensils or bowls, as they can react with the metal material and alter the product chemically. It is best to use wooden or ceramic tools.
