Intended Use: For room scenting using a vaporizer.

Description and Uses: Obtained through steam distillation of immortelle flowers. It is golden yellow to reddish in color and has an intense herbal, woody scent reminiscent of dry grass and honey. It is very popular in scar care; immortelle oil, mixed into a natural cream or carrier oil, performs well in skin regeneration, which is why it is also used in the care of fine lines and wrinkles, acne, and skin conditions such as rosacea or seborrhea. It softens the skin and helps protect it against drying out. Immortelle relaxes and helps against depression and for better sleep, and also works well for capillary or vein issues. It is effective in various allergies and in anti-pain massages.

Oils with which it can be blended: Bergamot, pepper, chamomile, all citrus oils, clary sage, clove, cypress, geranium, juniper, lavender, neroli, oregano, palmarosa, rose, rosemary, tea tree, thyme, vetiver, ylang ylang.

Fun Facts: It is also known by the name everlasting. Immortelle is a small shrub that grows up to 40 cm, with gray-green stems and hairy leaves, featuring characteristic small yellow flowers. Locally it grows on karst terrain, and otherwise throughout the Mediterranean, Italy, France, North Africa, etc. It blooms from July to August and is also used as a tea or spice. Traditionally, it is used as a diuretic (draining excess water from the body), against pain, for liver cleansing, cholesterol regulation, total body detoxification, against allergies, and for skin problems.
