Intended Use: For room scenting using a vaporizer.

Description and Uses: Cold-pressed from the raw peel of grapefruits. It is pale yellow in color and has a very fresh, light, slightly bitter citrus scent that is very characteristic of the fruit. Grapefruit oil in aromatherapy brings a mood lift and relieves muscle fatigue and tightness. It excellently cleanses oily skin prone to blackheads and acne, and is also added to body care products because it helps tighten the skin. Some sources also claim that it promotes hair growth.

Oils with which it can be blended: Other citrus family oils, rosemary, cypress, lavender, geranium, cardamom, and most herbal oils.

Fun Facts: The grapefruit tree originates from Asia and is now cultivated and produced in the USA, Brazil, Israel, the Mediterranean, and several European countries. The tree grows up to 10 meters tall, featuring many branches, glossy leaves, and large, pale yellow fruits with a sour-bitter taste. A variant is the pink grapefruit, which differs in fruit color and a sweeter taste.

In some people with sensitive skin, it can cause sensitivity to sunlight, so it should not be applied to exposed areas of the skin before sun exposure.
