Intended Use: For room scenting using a vaporizer.

Description and Uses: Obtained from chamomile flowers through steam distillation. It has a blue color and carries a characteristic chamomile scent. It can be used as an aid for various conditions such as allergies, arthritis, colic, bladder inflammation, dermatitis, earaches, menstrual problems, headaches, skin inflammation, itching from insect bites, insomnia, nausea, PMS, rheumatism, abscesses, stress, and superficial wounds.

It has a mild analgesic effect, acts against spasms, and can help with inflammations. It contains azulene, which is a powerful natural anti-inflammatory agent, making it exceptionally useful in numerous products to aid in wound healing.

Oils with which it can be blended: Bergamot, clary sage, lavender, geranium, jasmine, tea tree, grapefruit, lemon, and ylang ylang.

Fun Facts: Also called German chamomile or true chamomile. If the oil sits for a long time, blue crystals may form inside it; this is azulene, which naturally separates from the oil and provides anti-inflammatory properties. The plant is an annual and grows up to 60 cm tall. It blooms from May to August, and the scent of its numerous flowers resembles apples. The Egyptians highly prized it, dedicating it to the sun during the day due to its healing abilities against fever, and to the moon at night for its cooling effect.
