Description and Uses: Obtained through steam distillation of rose flowers. It is golden yellow in color and has an intensely feminine, fresh floral rose scent. It is one of the most expensive essential oils due to the massive quantity of petals required to obtain the oil. Therefore, it is offered diluted in jojoba oil, which does not diminish its properties or the quality of its scent. In aromatherapy, it possesses exceptional abilities to calm and lift the mood, making it excellent for coping with stress, depression, hysteria, or grief. It is also very beneficial for various female reproductive organ issues, as it helps establish hormonal balance. In cosmetic products, it suits all skin types, but is especially beneficial for dry, sensitive, and mature skin. It helps tighten the skin and has a positive effect on dilated capillaries or blood vessels elsewhere on the body.

Fun Facts: The rose is considered the queen of flowers and is cultivated in numerous countries around the world. It is a symbol of love, tenderness, femininity, and beauty. Rosa centifolia is a shrub that grows up to 1.5 meters high and features pink, fragrant flowers with numerous petals. It is most frequently used specifically for the production of fragrances. There are 250 species of roses in the world and over 10,000 hybrid varieties, yet only three species are commonly used to extract essential oil.
