Intended Use: For room scenting using a vaporizer.

Description and Uses: Obtained through steam distillation from the wood of the Himalayan cedar and is pale yellow-green in color. It has a dry, woody aroma that faintly resembles camphor and smoky wood. It is very subtle and reminiscent of spices. It can be used against seborrhea, and also as an aphrodisiac, astringent, diuretic, and as an aid for expectoration. It stimulates the circulatory system and relieves tension. Due to its properties, it is used in India to preserve the freshness of spices during storage.

Oils with which it can be blended: All citrus essential oils, with which it complements very nicely. Also rosemary, chamomile, eucalyptus, and many others.

Fun Facts: The Himalayan cedar is a tall, evergreen tree that grows up to 50 meters high. It is frequently found on the steep slopes of the Himalayan mountain range in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. It is also called the Tibetan cedar. Ancient Egyptians used its oil extensively, mostly for the mummification of remains, as well as in cosmetics and as a perfume.
