Safflower Oil, 100ml
Every person's skin is unique, and even naturally derived ingredients may not be suitable for everyone. We recommend performing a patch test before first use of any cosmetic product, regardless of the brand, particularly if you have sensitive or reactive skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Description: Cold-pressed from the seeds of the flowering Carthamus tinctorius (safflower) plant. It has a golden-yellow color and a mild, pleasant scent slightly reminiscent of peanuts. It is suitable for normal to dry skin. Safflower is a tall herbaceous plant with bright yellow, orange, or red flowers. Dried flowers are also used in cooking, and the plant was named for its resemblance to the much more expensive spice, saffron.
Important active ingredients: Contains a high amount of linoleic acid (omega-6), as well as oleic and palmitic acids. It is rich in vitamin E and vitamin K.
Use: A light, fast-absorbing oil that softens the skin and helps it maintain moisture. It creates a thin protective layer on the surface, reducing the feeling of dryness. It is suitable for the care of dry, rough, or combination skin. It is frequently used in formulations for moisturizing creams, lotions, and hair conditioners. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and contributes to a more even appearance.
Facial care: Apply a small amount of oil to cleansed facial skin that has been previously moistened with a toner or hydrosol. Body care: After bathing or showering, apply to damp skin and rub in well. For massage, you can add a few drops of essential oil to the carrier oil.
Shelf life: Safflower oil stays fresh for 6 months to 1 year when stored properly (in a cool place, protected from direct light). We recommend storing in the refrigerator after opening.
Composition: Carthamus tinctorius.
