Sage Oil

Origin: India

Description and Uses: Obtained by steam distillation of sage leaves. It is pale yellow-green in color and has a strong, herbal, spicy odor, sometimes with a hint of camphor. It is often added to soaps, perfumes, and other cosmetic products for its scent. It has antioxidant properties, making it an important addition to products to help with sagging skin or wrinkles. It can also help with stretch marks, scars, and conditions such as dermatitis or herpes. Sage is good for the hair and scalp, and can be added to shampoos, conditioners, and scalp tonics, especially for thinning or gray hair and excessively oily hair. It was also sometimes used for minor wounds or scratches to help prevent irritation and inflammation. Sage leaf tea is known to help with sore throats.
Oils that can be mixed with: Clary sage, geranium, ginger, lavender, orange, vetiver, neroli, rosemary and tea tree.

Myrtle Oil

Origin: India

Description and Uses: Myrtle is a small tree or larger shrub with many branches, small narrow leaves and flowers that bear black berries. The flowers and leaves have a characteristic scent. Historically, it first appeared in ancient Greece, dedicated to Aphrodite - the goddess of love and beauty.
Oils with which it can be mixed: Clary sage, geranium, ginger, lavender, orange, vetiver, neroli, rosemary and tea tree.

Thyme Oil

Origin: India.

Purpose of use: For scenting rooms using a vaporizer.
Description and use: Obtained by steam distillation of the whole thyme plant. It is reddish-yellow to brown in color and has a strong herbal, sweet-bitter odor. It is highly valued for its ability to strengthen the nerves, help with concentration and memory, and is useful for many respiratory diseases. Because it has a warming effect, it is used for arthritis, rheumatism and gout, and also stimulates the immune system. It can help us with exhaustion and depression. It is used in a vaporizer, but it is not very suitable for cosmetic products, as it can irritate the mucous membranes and also the skin of more sensitive people. In general, it should be used in small quantities.

Oregano Oil

Origin: India

It is used in products for nail fungus, acne and mouth ulcers. It is an antioxidant and helps against free radicals.
Oils that can be mixed with: lavender, rosemary, bergamot, chamomile, cypress, Himalayan cedar, tea tree, eucalyptus.

Patchouli Oil

Origin: Indonesia

Intended use: For room fragrance using a vaporizer.
Description and use: Obtained by steam distillation of patchouli leaves. It is a deep golden brown in color and has a warm, earthy scent reminiscent of fruit. It has an astringent effect, helps against nausea, depression, bloating and unpleasant odors. It helps detoxify and remove water from tissues, and can also be used as an aphrodisiac. It is excellent in combination with other, more expensive oils, as it prolongs their durability.
Oils that can be mixed with it: sandalwood, bergamot, cedar, rose, sweet orange, myrrh, clary sage.

Melissa Oil

Origin: India.

Purpose of use: For room fragrance using a vaporizer.
Description and use: Obtained by steam distillation of lemon balm leaves. It is pale yellow in color and has a fresh, herbal, sour-sweet scent, reminiscent of lemon and mint. It is used as an aid to depression, for calming, anti-spasmodic, anti-flatulent, and also supports the heart, nerves, and stomach. It is effective in relieving problems with herpes, ulcers, fungal diseases, and headaches, and is also known to strengthen memory.
Oils that can be mixed with: basil, boswellia, geranium, chamomile, rose, lavender, and ylang ylang.

Mentha Oil

Origin: India.

Purpose of use: For room fragrance using a vaporizer.
Description and use: Obtained by steam distillation of mint leaves. It is pale yellow in color and has an intense, fresh and slightly bittersweet scent. It has a calming, refreshing effect. It can be used to help with painful, swollen gums, mouth ulcers or toothache. It is excellent for the nervous system, supports the heart and is a good blood purifier.
Oils that can be mixed with: peppermint, periwinkle, basil, bergamot, cedar, eucalyptus, lemon, lime, mandarin, pine, rosemary, marjoram and thyme.

Marjoram Oil Sweet

In Ayurveda, it is traditionally used to clarify thoughts and concentration. It can help clear the sinuses, stimulate digestion and also circulation in the respiratory tract.
