Usage: This essential oil comes from Hungary and can be used as an air freshener.
It is obtained by steam distillation of Immortelle petals and has a golden yellow to reddish color and an intense, spicy-woody scent that is reminiscent of grass and honey. This oil is often used for the care of scars, either mixed with a moisturizer or in a carrier oil. It promotes the regeneration of skin and reduces wrinkles, acne and various skin problems such as rosacea and Soborrhoe. It softens the skin and protects it from moisture loss, while strengthening the blood vessels. In a massage oil, it relieves muscle pain. In aromatherapy, it is considered relaxing and relieves depression and insomnia.
Readily mixable with: bergamot, pepper, chamomile, all citrus oils, sage, clove, cypress, geranium, juniper berry, lavender, neroli, oregano, Palm rose, rose, rosemary, tea tree, thyme, vetiver and ylang ylang.
Interesting facts: The Immortelle is known for its specific scent as "curry plant". It grows approximately 40 cm as a tall shrub with gray-green hairy leaves and branches and forms small, yellow flowers from. This plant grows mainly in the Mediterranean region and blooms from July to August.
