Purpose of use: For air freshening rooms using a vaporizer.
Description and use: Obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of the cajeput tree. It is colorless to light yellow in color and has a very pleasant and fresh smell, somewhat reminiscent of camphor or eucalyptus, but with a fruity undertone. It helps with respiratory diseases, as it greatly facilitates breathing and helps with sore throats and coughs - it has even better effects than the better-known eucalyptus. It also relieves headaches and fatigue during illness. It lifts the mood and purifies the air. When in contact with the skin, it warms it and helps relieve pain in joints or muscles and rheumatism. It is also used for gout and gum pain after tooth extraction. It has an astringent effect, so it is suitable in products for the care of oily, problematic skin and eczema. It also helps remove lice from the scalp or fur of domestic animals.
It can irritate the skin, so it should always be used diluted and with caution.
Oils that can be mixed with: geranium, ylang ylang, rosemary, marjoram and other herbal oils.
