Description: Ground Tulsi plant, also known as Wild or Holy Basil. It is a greenish-brown powder with an intense herbal scent.

Benefits: Tulsi powder, also known as holy basil, is a traditional Ayurvedic plant immensely popular in natural skin and scalp care. It is prized for its cleansing and refreshing properties as well as its high antioxidant content. It helps purify the skin and scalp, contributing to a feeling of freshness and comfort after use. It is well-suited for caring for oily, combination, and blemish-prone skin, as it helps remove impurities and improve the skin's appearance. It is frequently used in facial masks, cleansing preparations, and herbal scalp blends, leaving the skin looking clearer, smoother, and revitalized. Tulsi powder is also popular for scalp care, providing a deep sense of cleanliness while protecting against environmental stressors.

Instructions for Use:

  • Hair care: Mix Tulsi powder with water to achieve a paste of suitable consistency, and let it stand for 20 minutes. Apply to the hair, massage well into the scalp, and leave on for 20–30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water; no shampoo is required. Use once weekly for healthy hair. For an intensive effect, mix with Amla powder. Follow up with a natural hair conditioner or neem powder if desired.

  • Skincare: Apply the prepared paste to the skin, leave on for up to 20 minutes, and rinse thoroughly with water.

Warning: When preparing herbal powders and clays, avoid using metal utensils or bowls (such as spoons or dishes), as they can react with the metal material and alter the product chemically. It is best to use wooden or ceramic tools.
