Description and Uses: Obtained through steam distillation of the leaves of the lemongrass plant. It has a light yellow color and an intensive, fresh scent of lemon and herbs. It is known for its invigorating properties. It can be used in facial tonics because it acts as an astringent, helping to combat acne and oily skin. It is an excellent aid for depression, strengthens the nervous system, and can be added to baths to relieve muscle aches. It is also known for its scent being unappealing to insects.

Oils with which it can be blended: bergamot, lime, orange, mandarin, neroli, grapefruit, geranium, lemon balm, frankincense, basil, palmarosa, cloves, ginger, eucalyptus, cardamom, coriander, patchouli, rosemary, myrrh, lavender, vetiver, clary sage, lemon, and jasmine.

Fun Facts: Lemongrass is a fast-growing perennial grass that reaches up to 1.5 meters in height and emits an aromatic scent. Native to Asia, it is cultivated in most warm regions, including Africa. Traditional Indian medicine used lemongrass to treat fever and infectious diseases.

Warnings: Read the label carefully before use and follow the instructions for use! For external use only, not for ingestion. Do not apply undiluted to the skin. Avoid use with children and in the case of glaucoma. Caution is required in cases of prostate hyperplasia, extreme skin sensitivity, or broken skin. Store in dark glass packaging. Avoid contact with aluminum.
