Description and Uses: Obtained through steam distillation of bitter orange tree blossoms. It has a dark yellow-green color and a fairly strong, sweet, exotic floral scent reminiscent of citrus. It increases circulation and stimulates new cell growth. It can help prevent scars and stretch marks and is suitable for all skin types, though it is most beneficial for dry, sensitive, or irritated skin. It helps with stress-related skin issues, regulates skin sebum production, and tightens enlarged pores. With regular use, it can diminish the appearance of enlarged capillaries or varicose veins. It can assist with depression and neutralize bad odors.

Oils with which it can be blended: Lavender, lemon, clary sage, myrrh, and spice oils such as nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves.

Fun Facts: Neroli oil was discovered in the 17th century. It is named after Anne Marie de la Trémoille, Princess of Nerola (Italy), who was the first to use it for scenting her gloves and baths. It was highly valued in ancient Venice, where it was used against the plague and fevers.
