Myrtle Essential Oil, 10ml
Every person's skin is unique, and even naturally derived ingredients may not be suitable for everyone. We recommend performing a patch test before first use of any cosmetic product, regardless of the brand, particularly if you have sensitive or reactive skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Manufacturer: Biopark Cosmetics
Intended Use: For room scenting using a vaporizer.
Description and Uses: Obtained through steam distillation of myrtle leaves and twigs. It has a fresh, clean scent reminiscent of camphor and eucalyptus, usually with a pale yellow to orange color. It has an astringent effect, making it frequently used in anti-aging cosmetic products and for firming the skin. In mouthwashes, it helps maintain firm gums, while in creams it assists in regulating skin sebum production, particularly for combination skin with pronounced oily or dry areas. It helps neutralize bad odors, making it useful in natural deodorants and perfumes, as well as for room freshening. In aromatherapy, it can help counter feelings of fear, anger, envy, and greed.
Oils with which it can be blended: Bergamot, clary sage, clove, hyssop, eucalyptus, ginger, lavender, mint, rosemary, thyme, and tea tree.
Fun Facts: Myrtle is a small tree or large shrub with many branches, small narrow leaves, and flowers that produce black berries. Both the flowers and leaves carry a distinctive fragrance. Historically, it first appeared in ancient Greece, dedicated to Aphrodite—the goddess of love and beauty. The bravest soldiers, athletes, and nobles were crowned with its leaves, and it was also highly valued for its medicinal properties. In ancient Egypt, it was steeped in wine and used as a preparation against infections and fever.
Warnings: Read the label carefully before use and follow the instructions for use! For external use only, not for ingestion. Do not apply undiluted to the skin. May cause skin sensitization in some individuals.
Composition: Myrtus Communis
Vegan – Does not contain ingredients of animal origin
Packaging: Biopark Cosmetics essential oils are stored in special dark violet glass (Violet glass), which exceptionally protects them from the entry of daylight, something that other dark-colored glass cannot do. Plants need light for growth and development—once they reach maturity, the degradation process begins in the light. Therefore, top-quality packaging is important for top-quality products. Our packaging exclusively allows violet light to pass through, which the plant essential oils inside need to maintain the same quality over the long term and preserve all of their bio-energy.
