Lotus Powder, 100g
Every person's skin is unique, and even naturally derived ingredients may not be suitable for everyone. We recommend performing a patch test before first use of any cosmetic product, regardless of the brand, particularly if you have sensitive or reactive skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Description: Ground dried lotus flowers. In India, it is one of the most sacred flowers regarding spiritual development. It contains linoleic acid, proteins, phosphorus, iron, and vitamins B and C. Across the world, the lotus flower is a symbol of femininity, growth, and strength.
Benefits: Lotus powder is a prized ingredient in Ayurvedic cosmetics, known for its refreshing and nourishing effects on the skin. Traditionally used in facial masks and natural skincare rituals, it helps improve skin texture, leaving it smoother and more radiant. Due to its natural antioxidant properties, it helps protect the skin from environmental stressors and maintains a feeling of freshness.
It gently cleanses and tones while helping to balance the skin. Afterward, the skin appears firmer, smoother, and more even. Lotus powder is popular for caring for tired, combination, and blemish-prone skin, as it helps refine the appearance of pores and promotes a balanced complexion. In Ayurveda, it is known for its pleasant cooling effect, making it especially popular for summer skincare. It is frequently combined with rose, sandalwood, or white clay to create luxurious facial masks.
Instructions for use: Due to its potency, lotus powder should be used at a maximum concentration of 10%. We recommend mixing it with other plant powders or clays, such as kaolin white clay or neem powder. If you experience any burning or stinging upon application, rinse off immediately. We recommend performing a patch test on a small area of skin (such as the inner forearm) before applying it to your face.

Skincare: Mix the powder with clay and/or other natural powders. Add warm water or a hydrosol (you can add a few drops of your favorite oil for dry skin) to form a suitable paste. Apply to cleansed skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for up to 15 minutes (if no oil was added, the mixture will begin to dry), rinse with warm water, and follow up with a toner or hydrosol and a moisturizing cream or oil.
Warning: Do not apply undiluted to the skin. Use a maximum 10% concentration. When preparing herbal powders and clays, avoid using metal utensils or bowls, as they can react with the metal material and alter the product chemically. It is best to use wooden or ceramic tools.
