Intended Use: For room scenting using a vaporizer.

Description and Uses: Cold-pressed from the peel of lemons. It is light yellow in color and has a characteristic fresh, tart citrus scent. It refreshes and cools, helping to increase concentration. It is a good cleaning agent and excellent for the care of problematic, oily skin or scalp. It works wonderfully in blends with oils that have a characteristic medicinal scent (tea tree, eucalyptus) by softening their aroma.

Oils with which it can be blended: Lavender, rose, sandalwood, benzoin, chamomile, eucalyptus, tea tree, frankincense, geranium, peppermint, ylang ylang.

Warnings: Read the label carefully before use and follow the instructions for use! For external use only, not for ingestion. Do not apply undiluted to the skin. Not toxic, but may be irritating to sensitive people. It is phototoxic, so it should not be applied before exposing the skin to direct sunlight.

Fun Facts: The lemon was once a small, thorny evergreen shrub native to India. It is now widespread throughout southern Europe, California, and the warmer states of the US. Lemon fruits were well known in Europe as early as the Middle Ages, and the Romans and Greeks greatly respected it for its medicinal properties. Its essential oil became extremely famous when the British effectively used it against problems caused by scurvy.
