Description and Uses: Obtained through the extraction of jasmine flowers. It is golden yellow in color and has an intoxicating, sweet floral scent. In aromatherapy, it is one of the best-known aphrodisiacs, and when diluted, it is traditionally used for massaging the abdomen of pregnant women to ease childbirth. It is also used against depression, for the respiratory organs, painful muscles, and to increase skin tension. It deeply calms and is beneficial for people with sexual difficulties. It can be added to cosmetic products for the care of dry, sensitive, or oily skin, as well as into lotions against scars and stretch marks.

Oils with which it can be blended: Jasmine can be blended with most other essential oils, and it pairs particularly well with bergamot, rose, sandalwood, and all citrus oils.

Fun Facts: Jasmine is an evergreen shrub with intoxicatingly fragrant, star-shaped white flowers that grows up to 10 meters tall. Also called the king among flowers, it is one of the most famous plants used for its scent. It originates from Asia and Africa, arriving in Europe in the 17th century and soon becoming the base for all perfumes. Jasmine flowers are extremely sensitive; they are still harvested by hand and quickly processed using ancient methods to preserve their properties.
