Packaging: ELITE essential oils are stored in special dark violet glass (Violet glass), which exceptionally protects them from the entry of daylight, something that other dark-colored glass cannot do. Plants need light for growth and development—once they reach maturity, the degradation process begins in the light. Therefore, top-quality packaging is important for top-quality products. Our packaging exclusively allows violet light to pass through, which the plant essential oils inside need to maintain the same quality over the long term and preserve all of their bio-energy.

BEFORE FIRST USE OF ESSENTIAL OIL PRODUCTS
We advise testing your skin's sensitivity before using a product scented with essential oils. Mix a small quantity of the product (butter, cream, lotion) and apply it to the inner elbow or behind the ear. Wait 24 hours, and if no reaction, itching, irritation, redness, or other discomfort occurs, this oil or concentration suits your skin and can be used over a larger area.
If any reaction is detected, immediately wash the skin with water and soap and do not use this essential oil in your cosmetic creations. It is sensible to test each essential oil individually first, followed by any intended combinations. Never apply pure essential oils directly to the skin; always use them in a diluted form.
GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR USING ESSENTIAL OILS
-
When formulating cosmetics, avoid measuring essential oils in drops, as oils vary in density and bottle droppers differ. Use a precise scale for measurements. Where a drop count is suggested, take it only as a baseline to develop your desired concentration.
-
Add essential oils to products that do not yet contain other fragrances. Incorporate them into mixtures at room temperature or slightly lukewarm. Do not add them to overly warm or hot mixtures.
-
Choose 100% natural oils, preferably organic.
SUGGESTED ESSENTIAL OIL CONCENTRATIONS
-
Facial Cosmetics: Add a maximum of 0.5% essential oils to a natural facial product (cream, oil, cleansing lotion, etc.) that does not yet contain them, and mix well.
-
Body Cosmetics: Add 3% to 5% essential oils to a natural body product (cream, lotion, shower gel, etc.) that does not yet contain them, and mix well. Rinse-off products (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) can generally tolerate slightly higher fragrance levels than leave-on products (lotions, creams).
-
Massage Oil: Blend 3% to 5% of your chosen essential oils into a carrier oil and mix thoroughly.
-
Inhalations: Add 1 drop of essential oil to a vaporizer or a bowl of hot (not boiling) water. Wait at least a minute before inhaling so the scent isn't too overpowering. Bring your face slowly to the vaporizer and inhale from a distance first to find a comfortable concentration. If you feel irritation or coughing, stop inhaling.
-
Room Fragrance: Add a few drops of essential oil to the water bowl of a candle oil burner and light the candle. Oils can also be added to a water dish placed on a radiator or into an electric room humidifier.
