Cajeput Essential Oil, 10ml
Every person's skin is unique, and even naturally derived ingredients may not be suitable for everyone. We recommend performing a patch test before first use of any cosmetic product, regardless of the brand, particularly if you have sensitive or reactive skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Manufacturer: Biopark Cosmetics
Origin: Australia.
Intended Use: For room scenting using a vaporizer.
Description and Uses: Obtained through steam distillation of the leaves of the cajuput tree. It is colorless to light yellow in color and has a very pleasant, fresh scent that slightly resembles camphor or eucalyptus, but with a fruity undertone. It helps with respiratory conditions by greatly easing breathing and helping with a sore throat and cough—it has even better effects than the more familiar eucalyptus. It also relieves headaches and fatigue during illness, lifts the mood, and purifies the air. Upon contact with the skin, it warms it and helps alleviate joint or muscle pain and rheumatism. It is also used for gout and gum pain after a tooth extraction. It has an astringent effect, making it suitable in products for caring for oily, problematic skin and eczema. It also helps in removing lice from the scalp or the fur of domestic animals. It can irritate the skin, so it should always be used diluted and with caution.
Oils with which it can be blended: Geranium, ylang ylang, rosemary, marjoram, and other herbal oils.
Fun Facts: The cajuput is a resinous evergreen tree, a close relative of the tea tree and niaouli. In the Philippines, it is called the "swamp tea tree." It grows up to 25 meters high and has whitish bark that feels like paper to the touch. It is native to Malaysia, India, and Australia, and also grows extensively in the Philippines and nearby islands.
Warnings: Read the label carefully before use and follow the instructions for use! For external use only, not for ingestion. Do not apply undiluted to the skin. May irritate the skin and mucous membranes. Use during pregnancy and in cases of liver or kidney disorders is discouraged.
Composition: Melaleuca Cajeputi.
Vegan – Does not contain ingredients of animal origin
Packaging: Biopark Cosmetics essential oils are stored in special dark violet glass (Violet glass), which exceptionally protects them from the entry of daylight, something that other dark-colored glass cannot do. Plants need light for growth and development—once they reach maturity, the degradation process begins in the light. Therefore, top-quality packaging is important for top-quality products. Our packaging exclusively allows violet light to pass through, which the plant essential oils inside need to maintain the same quality over the long term and preserve all of their bio-energy.
