Description: Ground leaves and stems of the Brahmi plant—a heavily utilized herb in Ayurveda, primarily favored in cosmetics for hair care. Also known as Bacopa or water hyssop, it is a succulent plant that thrives in marshy soils across many regions of the world and is frequently used as an aquarium water plant. The powder is green in color and features a characteristic herbal scent.
Benefits: Possessing powerful antioxidant properties, it is exceptional for hair and scalp care. It supports overall hair health to help locks grow longer and thicker. Most commonly used to prevent split ends, it envelops hair fibers in a natural protective coating. With regular use, it deeply nourishes hair follicles to help combat premature hair loss while simultaneously cooling and soothing the scalp. Because it moisturizes the scalp skin, it helps prevent dryness, thereby reducing dandruff, itching, and other moisture-related issues.
It is an excellent choice for hair that requires extra nourishment, softness, and smoothness, functioning as a conditioning mask that enhances hair texture and gives it a tidier, more polished appearance.
Instructions for use: Mix Brahmi powder with warm water to form a smooth paste (you can also combine it with other herbal powders). Massage the paste into the scalp using circular motions, then work it out toward the hair ends. Leave on for up to 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly with water, and wash with a natural shampoo or Aritha powder.
Warning: When preparing herbal powders and clays, avoid using metal utensils or bowls (such as spoons or dishes), as they can react with the metal material and alter the product chemically. It is best to use wooden or ceramic tools.
