Benefits: Baheda, also known as Bibhitaki, is a traditional Ayurvedic herb obtained from the fruits of the Terminalia bellirica tree. Due to its unique composition, it is a popular ingredient in traditional preparations for hair, scalp, and skin care. Baheda contains various polyphenolic and other antioxidant plant compounds, making it a valuable addition to natural cosmetic routines. In hair care, it is used in herbal masks and blends designed to nourish the scalp and care for thin, brittle, and dry hair. The powder helps improve the feel and appearance of the hair, giving it a healthier look. It is traditionally combined with amla and shikakai to create a comprehensive herbal hair and scalp treatment. Additionally, baheda is used in skincare preparations to refresh and nourish the complexion.

Instructions for use:

  • Hair care: Mix baheda powder with water to achieve a paste of suitable consistency, and let it stand for 20 minutes. Apply to the hair, massage well into the scalp, and leave on for 20–30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water; no shampoo is required. Use once weekly for healthy hair.

Warning: When preparing herbal powders and clays, avoid using metal utensils or bowls (such as spoons or dishes), as they can react with the metal material and alter the product chemically. It is best to use wooden or ceramic tools.
