Aritha Powder, 100g
Every person's skin is unique, and even naturally derived ingredients may not be suitable for everyone. We recommend performing a patch test before first use of any cosmetic product, regardless of the brand, particularly if you have sensitive or reactive skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Description: Made from ground, dried fruits of the Aritha (or Reetha) tree. It is a brown powder with a mild herbal scent. The fruits of this tree are also well-known as soapnuts. Aritha, also known as reetha, is a traditional Indian plant whose fruits contain natural saponins. These plant-based cleansing agents foam upon contact with water, allowing for the gentle removal of impurities, excess oil, and other residues. It can be used as a natural alternative to shampoo, shower gel, facial cleanser, or general cleaning.
Benefits: Due to its natural saponins, aritha is a popular ingredient in traditional preparations for naturally cleansing the hair and scalp. It can be used on its own or combined with other Ayurvedic herbs, primarily amla and shikakai, to create herbal cleansing blends. The powder is also suitable for preparing traditional natural cleaning preparations for various surfaces and textiles. Because of its natural cleansing properties, aritha serves as an interesting alternative to conventional synthetic cleaning agents. When used on the skin and hair, it provides a feeling of cleanliness and freshness, effectively removing impurities.
Natural active ingredients: Saponins and other plant compounds characteristic of aritha fruits.
