Description: Cold-pressed from castor seeds. Hexane-free. It is light yellow in color and almost odorless. A thick, viscous oil with a characteristic texture, suitable for skin and hair care and as an ingredient in the manufacture of natural cosmetics. It contains ricinoleic acid and is popular in formulations for cleansing and skin care.

Important active ingredients: Contains about 90% ricinoleic acid, as well as oleic and linoleic acid. Due to its low molecular weight, it can penetrate deeply into the skin.

Use: Castor oil is a versatile vegetable oil valued in natural cosmetics for its thick texture and rich nutritional composition. It is suitable for facial care, even for oily and combination skin, as it helps maintain a feeling of hydration and protects the skin from drying out. It creates a protective layer on the skin's surface that helps retain moisture and supports a soft, smooth, and nourished appearance. It is often used in the oil cleansing method for the face, where it helps remove impurities, makeup residues, and excess oil.

Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid and natural fatty acids that contribute to a feeling of suppleness and softness. Due to its texture, it is a popular ingredient in serums, balms, ointments, soaps, and nourishing masks for the face and hair. It is especially valued in the care of dry, tired, and sensitive skin, as it helps improve the feeling of comfort and protection.

It is also frequently used for the care of eyelashes, eyebrows, and hair as part of a routine for a more nourished, shiny, and neat appearance. It helps improve hair softness and gives it more shine and smoothness. It is popular for the care of dry ends and dull hair, as it helps improve the appearance of the hair structure.

In cosmetic products, castor oil also acts as a stabilizer and binding ingredient, which is why it is often included in natural cosmetic formulations. It is suitable for all skin and hair types, especially for dry, sensitive, and dehydrated skin, as well as for dry and damaged hair.

Oil cleansing: Apply a thin layer of castor oil to the face. Cover the face with a cloth soaked in hot water or expose the face to steam for a few minutes so that the pores open and the oil can penetrate. Then, gently massage the oil into the skin, and cover the face again with a hot, damp towel to absorb impurities. Gently wipe the face clean with a warm, damp cloth, rinse with cold water to close the pores, and apply a natural moisturizer. This routine can be done daily. Promoting eyelash or eyebrow growth: Apply a small amount of oil to the eyelashes or eyebrows daily. Dandruff relief: Massage castor oil into the scalp in the evening and leave it on overnight; wash hair with a natural shampoo in the morning. Softening skin (e.g., on the soles of the feet): Massage castor oil into areas with very hard and dry skin and then soak in a warm bath.

Shelf life: The oil stays fresh for 6 months to 1 year when stored properly (in a cool place, protected from direct light). We recommend storing in the refrigerator after opening.
